Sarah Salaman

Sarah Salaman is a multidisciplinary Bristol based artist, working in the field of print, photography, assemblage and stitch. Her work is a fusion of fine art and craft.

After studying BA Fine Art photography at Exeter College of art and Design, she trained as a Theatre Designer at the Bristol old Vic Theatre School and spent ten years designing sets and costumes for independent touring Theatre companies in the U.K and abroad.

Sarah has an MA with distinction in multi-disciplinary printmaking from U.W.E and was awarded the Rebecca Smith prize for Fine Art in 2011.

At present Sarah is designing a range of original digitally printed fabrics, and offering a fully bespoke design service.

There will be both a Summer and a Winter collection of fabric prints and a range of unique limited edition wearables.

A free consultation is available, where decisions concerning design, fabric and colour can be tailored to suit your needs, passions and preferences.

Sarah is also upcycling discarded designer knitwear by felting and re-inventing it as comfort clothing and interior tactiles. Look for the ‘SO TOASTY’ tag.
